November 2009 Market Trends Reports for SW Washington Area Vancouver, Washington and the Portland, Oregon Metropolitan Areas My Opinion of the Local Real Estate Market Local Housing Market close to the Bottom and Stabilizing! I am still predicting we will hit Bottom of the Market this Spring, First Quarter 2010. Wild cards are Foreclosures and the Job Market. Historically this area's foreclosure rate has been lower than the national average which is true now 2.5% vs 4.5% nationally. However, job growth has contracted more here than other metropolitan areas. Time will Tell.
